The Gift

Shopping is like looking into the clouds, even when you know it’s rain you don’t have any idea to raindrop sizes. Looking through a thousand items is just like this. You kind or feel you know what to get, then you look for that raindrop to confirm your decision.

How important is a gift on Christmas? It depends on who and how they perceive the holiday. To be honest, it’s quite important to some because it’s a tradition that makes life grand. It is the only day of the year where families, even if of two people, stop to share and focus. It is a day when joy spreads throughout the year. It is a day of reckoning relationships. It is actually important. Which in tern comes to the gift.

Some people say it’s the effort behind the gift which counts the most. Others will contend it’s about the item. Whichever it means to you, let’s go with the thought, the consideration of kindness, the ability to remember and give with your heart. Why? Well it’s quite simple. Even though many don’t know each other well enough to fulfill every need, it’s the effort behind it being remembered.

Imagine if you do not receive a gift on this holiday. How devastating would it be? It maybe quite to some extent. Its being left out, feeling unimportant, or especially feeling distant and unloved. Regardless of truth, it is a day most recall as being included. And most say, love is giving. Receiving is just as important.

What gift should you give if you haven’t the money? This situation calls for creativity. Remember it’s the effort counting more than the item. When young kids do not have money they tend to create from the heart. Some adults do the same and which derives from their visionary ideas with a unique eye. Even if it’s a weird gift, it’s at least absorbed with love. It’s about the effort regardless if the gift is liked by the recipient or not. The effort counts.

The greatest gift anyone can give is their love. Reinforce it with saying words of endearment and share a smile. This gift is forever irreversible and it counts as the best gift ever received. Trust me.

Merry Christmas ❤ with love.
